Being a prosecutor is about seeking justice. This means that fairness and equality under the law must always guide the decision-making process.  For me, this means there is no place for ego and vanity.  Our community is too important to let self-interest determine outcomes.

Governor Bob McDonnell has given his endorsement of Tamara's re-election campaign.

Lt. Governor Bill Bolling has officially announced his endorsement of Tamara's re-election campaign.

Sheriff Ray Foster endorses Tamara Neo.  "Mrs. Neo and I work very well together. I appreciate her hard work, and want to keep working with her as a team to fight drugs and crime in the community. I do not want to go backwards to how it used to be."

What is STAR Court?

The STAR court is about helping people charged with crimes because of their issues of addiction, to have a real chance at making positive, lasting change in their lives. A recovery program modeled after the traditional Drug Court form, the STAR Court is a second chance earned by the defendant and aimed at helping them leave the criminal justice system behind for good.

Commonwealth's Attorney's team raises money at the Deputies' Relief Fund Softball Tournament, which also saw the honoring of Deputy Stiltner due to his history with the Grundy Softball Team.

Steve Whitt's 30 years of violence was put to an end having received two life sentences for the attempted murder of two of our finest law enforcement officers.

Frank "Snake" Thomas received 10 life sentences for a crime spree ending in a triple homicide.

Travis Wade Spence received a life sentence for first degree murder plus 10 years for threatening a Commonwealth witness.

Johnny Peck received 19 years to serve on a 40-year sentence for second degree murder.
